Dan has been a member of the Vantuna Research Group since his undergraduate days at Oxy. He became a Research Associate under Dr. John Stephens, Jr. in 1988, and became Director of the VRG in 1996. He has authored or co-authored over one hundred technical reports and peer-reviewed publications while at Occidental, and is also a Professor and department chair of the Biology Department.
