He/Him/His
Eric Robinson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist born and raised in Venice, California. Eric attended Antioch University – Los Angeles where he received his BA in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Creative Writing and his MA in Clinical Psychology. Eric’s clinical work began providing support to youth and families in community-based programs throughout Los Angeles County. In addition, his professional experience includes serving in programs working to impact systems change, which is where he gained an appreciation of how the environment impacts the individual. He strives to discover the entirety of an individual’s experience. Eric practices with the belief that to be seen and heard is a human right and the connection that occurs is not a fix or cure for symptoms, but relief from the burden of struggling and surviving, so that one can redirect that energy toward self-discovery, strengthening intuition and breaking through barriers to thriving. Outside of his career, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and friends, attending his children’s extracurriculars (hockey and jiu-jitsu), and trains in jiu-jitsu as a practice of mindfulness, exercise and self-care.
