
Evelyn attended University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business-Economics and Specialization in Computing. She was working in Healthcare IT for several years when she realized her calling was as a healthcare provider. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from California State University, Northridge and worked for 8 years as a registered nurse at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in the Pediatric ICU. She went on to pursue a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Azusa Pacific University. Prior to coming to Oxy, she trained at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), working with an underserved, predominantly Hispanic population. Evelyn is a strong advocate for preventative medicine and health education. She believes in incorporating a holistic approach to wellness and healing.
Evelyn enjoys staying active, eating delicious things, traveling the world, and spending time with family and friends.
