Michelle Hernandez (she/her) was born and raised in Pasadena, CA. She graduated from California State University, Sacramento, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Education. Michelle is currently pursuing her Master’s in Counseling with an academic and clinical counseling specialization at the California State University, Northridge. Although she did not participate in the Occidental College Upward Bound program, Michelle is an alumna of the Pasadena City College Math/Science Upward Bound program and is now grateful to be on the other end of such an impactful program. She is passionate about empowering students to navigate educational opportunities and achieve their goals. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and exploring new places.
