Sam Soule
Field Research Assistant

Sam began working for the Vantuna Research Group in 2017 as an undergraduate research assistant. In 2018, he received his B.A. in Biology with a Marine emphasis from Occidental College. As an undergraduate, worked as an Scuba Instructor and Marine Educator with the outdoor program Broadreach. He also spent a semester in the Galapagos, studying conservation and the interactivity of marine ecosystems. Sam also works as a demonstration technician at the Southern California Marine Institute (SCMI) a consortium of 23 major universities, colleges, and foundations including Occidental that share and support marine resources.
