First-Year, Transfer, & Student Success Librarian
Sam received her MLIS with a concentration in Archives Management from Simmons University and her BA in English from Linfield University. To Oxy, she brings experience leading information literacy workshops centered on finding (and questioning) secondary sources, on primary source analysis, and on personalizing the research process. Sam is interested in making library instruction more interactive and has designed classroom activities and built online learning objects aimed at gamifying information literacy.
Samantha knows that student success isn’t limited to academics and strives to make libraries a place of welcome and belonging for all students.
