Director of Financial Aid
Sheryl became the Director of Financial Aid in October of 2021. Sheryl is originally from Los Angeles and is a graduate of Occidental, having started her career in financial aid while working as a student assistant for Oxy’s Office of Financial Aid. After graduating, she continued to work for Oxy as a financial aid counselor and later as an assistant director of financial aid. In addition to earning a BA in psychology from Occidental, Sheryl also has an M.S. Ed. in Enrollment Management from Capella University. She has worked in various positions in enrollment at both undergraduate and graduate schools and is thrilled to return to her alma mater to oversee the Office of Financial Aid.
