Center for Research & Scholarship

The Center for Research & Scholarship (CRS) supports, promotes, and builds community around faculty research, scholarship, creative work, and professional achievement.

The programs and resources offered by the Center for Research & Scholarship, which was founded in 2016, are guided by the following goals:

  • To support faculty members in their scholarship and creative work, through activities that include but are not limited to workshops, mentorship, and funding
  • To promote scholarly achievement to internal and external stakeholders, including the media, alumni and trustees, donors, parents, prospective students, and the public
  • To build intellectual community and cultivate a vibrant intellectual life on campus by sponsoring events and leading initiatives that make scholarship, research, and creative work feel seen and valued
