This session explores the ethics of “participation” in documentary media. Fox will engage with Dr. Lin, MAC’s 20-21 Visiting Assistant Professor of Media for Social Change, about her organization Voices of Women Media—which uses participatory video models to provide community members with the skills and technology to make media for and about themselves.
This event is part of the Media Arts & Culture Department's MAC Summer Event Series! Join us for six one-hour online events hosted by department faculty and staff as we preview some of the creative and conceptual topics at the heart of next year’s courses and initiatives.
