This session will explore Refugee Cinema through an analysis of Gabrielle Brady’s Island of the Hungry Ghosts. The film is available on Amazon Prime, if attendees wish to watch it in advance, though this is not required to engage in the event.
This event is part of the Media Arts & Culture Department's MAC Summer Event Series! Join us for six one-hour online events hosted by department faculty and staff as we preview some of the creative and conceptual topics at the heart of next year’s courses and initiatives. These one-hour events will run biweekly on Thursdays at 5:30 PM PDT from May 28-August 6.
