Hannah graduated from Oxy in 2015 with a BA in Group Language (Spanish & Linguistics). This is her second year working as a speech-language pathologist in San Diego Unified School District. Her current caseload ranges from preschool to 6th grade, and the majority of her students are bilingual in both Spanish and English. In this talk, Hannah will describe the assessment and treatment of phonological disorders and language disorders in the school setting, descriptions of a typical day/week in the life of an SLP, pros and cons of the field, as well as tips for entering the field from Oxy.
