Join Prof. Jason Wong in an interview with Prof. Marquise McGraw, who had an extensive career at the nexus of economics and public policy. Prior to joining American University, Prof. McGraw served as an economist for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Washington, D.C. from 2016-19, where he advised policymakers on the economic consequences of proposed regulatory changes. From 2007-09, he served as an economist in the Federal Aviation Administration's Office of Aviation Policy and Plans, where he conducted cost-benefit analysis. He specializes in research on infrastructure and economic development, local labor markets, and public finance. McGraw holds a Ph.D. in economics from UC-Berkeley.
