They are also a leading voice in the fight to make Hollywood more inclusive both on screen and in the workplace. In conversation with Prof. Aleem Hossain, Mx. Soloway will talk about their entire career, starting in indie theater productions through their career on the writing staffs of shows like Six Feet Under and United States of Tara and eventually creating award-winning feature films and the hit series Transparent and I Love Dick. It will be a wide-ranging conversation about the creative process, the nuts and bolts of TV writing, the business of Hollywood and the role art plays in struggles for equality and justice.
