Participate in this year’s Convocation as the entire Oxy community celebrates the Class of 2027, the return to campus, and the year ahead.

We are inviting all Oxy faculty, staff, and students to participate in the Convocation ceremony, featuring a procession of members of the faculty, administration, and Board of Trustees, along with the members of the Class of 2027, marching to the beat of the Taiko ensemble (back by popular demand)! The brief ceremony will include welcome messages from various members of the Oxy community and of course, the amazing Occidental Glee Club, led by Professor Desiree LaVertu.
Following the ceremony, there will be a festive lunch celebration on the Quad for the entire community, featuring music by Oxy Jazz student-led ensemble.
Members of the faculty and staff are welcome to march in academic regalia. All others are welcome to attend the event from the general audience.

9:30 a.m. Coffee Break in Rose Hills Patio (in front of the bookstore)
9:45 a.m. Procession line up begins
10 a.m. Convocation program begins
11 a.m. Community lunch celebration begins
