Gabriel Akopian, MD: Oxy Biochemistry '96; Boston University School of Medicine '00; Specialty: General Surgery. Dr. Akopian is currently a colorectal surgeon at Huntington Hospital. He is also the Program Director for the general surgery residency program.
Mark Ancheta, MD: Oxy Biology ‘97; UC San Francisco School of Medicine ‘01; Specialty: Anesthesiology. Dr. Ancheta started his private practice at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, where he has been for 18 years since finishing his residency.
Megan Sumida, MD: Oxy Biochemistry ‘14; Univ. of Hawaii John A Burns School of Medicine ‘19; Specialty: OB/GYN. Dr. Sumida recently completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Kaiser Los Angeles and now she is a fellow in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine / Texas Children’s Hospital.
