The Survivor Peer Support Group offers a confidential, compassionate space to heal, connect, and grow — guided by trained student Peer Advocates from Project SAFE.

This peer-led, trauma-informed gathering is designed to bring students together in community, providing opportunities for shared understanding, active listening, and mutual support. It is a space where participants can explore healthy coping strategies, rebuild trust, process emotions, and strengthen resilience, and it is intended for anyone seeking connection, validation, and the support of peers who understand their experiences.

Sessions are facilitated by trained Project SAFE Peer Advocates, who are knowledgeable about campus resources, healthy communication, and consent. Each meeting emphasizes confidentiality, respect, and boundaries to foster safety and trust. Activities may include check-ins, guided reflection, grounding exercises, small-group discussions, resource sharing, or optional expressive practices like journaling and art. Participation is flexible—students are welcome to share only what feels right and take breaks as needed.
