Limbo is a 25-minute ethnographic and experimental short that immerses viewers in the liminal psyche of its narrator, Alex, a former Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) guerrilla now navigating the fraught transition to civilian life. Shot entirely inside a truck transformed into a camera obscura, the film uses inverted and dreamlike projections to intertwine Alex’s spoken testimony with surreal images of landscapes, recollections, and ayahuasca-infused dreamscapes.
