Ludmila Fonseca Teixeira, Assistant Professor at University of California, Riverside, joins Oxy Geology for a talk: How to find volcanoes that no longer exist?

Teixeira's research focuses on understanding the genetic processes and conditions that control the concentration (or absence) of critical minerals in magmatic rocks, particularly those of high-silica composition. She has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
