Moore Lab and FEAST's Bruce Steele Garden Celebrate Earth Month

Join Occidental College’s Moore Lab of Zoology and FEAST's Bruce Steele Garden celebrate the vibrant bird and plant diversity of our city.

We'll be gathering outside of the garden to spot migratory birds that visit our campus during the spring season. The FEAST (Food, Energy and Sustainability Team) members will be leading guided tours of the student-run urban garden where you can learn about their dynamic agricultural programming.

The show follows Noa as she discovers the forgotten ancestral and spiritual stories that connect her with the land of Fresno, California that lead her to find a greater sense of what home means through the comfort and community of her family and the natural world.

ORSL Open Mic Night

Perform any piece (solo singing, instrumental, band or small group, poetry or spoken word) that you feel a spiritual connection to. These should be pieces that come from whatever you think of as your soul or essence, pieces that move you and that you want to share with others. Let's all experience the wonder of expression in music and word as a community!
