Weingart Gallery

Until We Meet Again/Xia Ci Jian 下次见 is an exhibition by Callie Chen (she/her) featuring work made this semester for her Studio Art Honors project. The installation is centered around the artist’s experience as an ABC (American-born Chinese) and deals with topics of cultural identity and family relationships as a second-generation immigrant, as well as Chinese funerary customs and the cultural practice of ancestor veneration.

The Weingart Gallery is located in Weingart 103

Opening Reception: Wednesday, April 21 3pm-5pm (in-person)

In honor of Jaden Burris '22 and Ilah Richardson '23, a group of 15 students have been working on a collage painting to commemorate their classmates. They will be exhibited on campus at the Weingart Gallery. All members of the Oxy community and the greater community are invited to attend. 

Guests will be required to wear masks for the duration of this event.

Collaborate is a FREE series of seven workshops conceived and taught by Occidental College senior students to 6-8th graders in the local community. All workshops will take place at Occidental College. The series culminates in an interactive “exhibition.”
