Dr. Paul Levine: Workshop on Sonification of Scientific Data and Models
This workshop series will provide an introduction to sonification of scientific data and models, with an emphasis on geoscientific data. In the first workshop, students will learn about basic concepts and techniques in data sonification through examples across a range of scientific disciplines. Students will then be introduced to geoscientific data from from Earth observation satellites and Earth system models, and will learn how to acquire and work with these data in order to create their own sonifications.
