Will Black with a dog
Senior; Production

Will Black ‘21 shares his piece “Sleep Now,” written in MUSC 257 Composition Seminar. Using text by James Joyce, soft, lullaby-like melodies are contrasted with dissonant moments reflecting the idea, or lack thereof, of sleep. This recording features performances by our applied instructors Karen Hogle Brown, soprano voice, and Junko Ueno Garrett, piano.
