The Projects for Peace fund student-generated community service summer projects that promote peace and conflict resolution.

Purpose:
The Projects for Peace support grassroots summer projects that align with the program's mission of promoting peace and/or addressing the roots of conflict. Recipients receive $10,000 to fund their project.
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible, a student must:
- be currently enrolled at Oxy (in any year)
- submit a proposal individually, or as part of a group
Nomination Process:
Oxy may nominate one project and one alternate per year. In order to be considered for Oxy nomination, please email the following materials as individual PDFs to fellowships@oxy.edu by 11:59pm PT on January 22, 2024. Label each file with your name (e.g., lastname_firstname_personalstatement).
- two-page project proposal (note that you should work with and get approval from a partnering organization or organizations as you write this proposal)
- one-page budget for project
