How to find your website:

I don’t see the “edit" button.

  • Do you see the Drupal toolbar at the top of your screen? If not, go to oxy.edu/user to log in.
  • Reload the page. Press ctrl +r (cmd +r on a mac) or F5.

I’m not authorized to access a page.

  • Do you see the Drupal toolbar at the top of your screen? If not, go to oxy.edu/user to log in.
  • If you are logged in but get an access denied error, it means you do not have editing access for that page or any other within the same department. Please email helpdesk with requests for updates to your editing permissions.

My edits don’t show up online.

  • It can take up to an hour for your changes to be visible on the website.
  • While logged in, your changes will be visible immediately. Reload the page to view your changes.

My text formatting looks weird.

  • When pasting content from another source like Microsoft Word, email, or a Google Doc, always use the "Paste from Word" button in the text editor (it looks like a small clipboard with the Microsoft Word logo).
  • If your text formatting still looks inconsistent, you can use the "Clear Format" button in the text editor (it looks like a small eraser and is to the right of "Paste from Word"). Note that this will clear all font formatting including bold, italicized, or underlined text, but it should remove any inconsistencies with font sizing.
