We’re bringing our athletes home to new aquatic and tennis facilities.
The De Mandel Aquatic Center, the Townsend Crosthwaite Pool, McKinnon Family Tennis Center and Robinson Terrace will all allow us to carry on the historic legacy of Oxy champions.
Built in 1930, Taylor Pool no longer meets the needs of modern competition. The limited number of courts in the McKinnon Family Tennis Center also fall short. Come June 2019, that’s all about to change.
Designed by the nationally recognized architectural firm of Moule & Polyzoides and landscaped by award-winning Van Atta Associates, Occidental’s new 58,000 square-foot complex will make it possible for Oxy’s swimming, diving, water polo and tennis teams to train and compete in facilities that meet NCAA and conference standards.
