Leadership Giving members are philanthropic leaders in the Oxy community. The committee works to strengthen ties between Oxy and its alumni supporters and inspires a select group of alumni leaders to make a gift to Oxy every year.
Parents Council is composed of parents from across the country who are dedicated to participating in a leadership role within the Oxy community. Members are critical to building relationships between Oxy parents and the College and in conducting outreach to fellow parents on how Oxy Fund gifts impact the current student experience.
Reunion giving committees are assembled by alumni to encourage their peers to contribute to Oxy in honor of their milestone reunions. It's an opportunity to reconnect with classmates while supporting the programs that make the Oxy experience unique.
Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Committee
The GOLD Committee is Occidental’s young alumni engagement and fundraising body, composed of graduates of the last decade (GOLD) from around the country who have a strong passion and affinity for Occidental College. As ambassadors of the College, members develop relationships with fellow young alumni to deepen their engagement with Oxy and encourage philanthropic contributions. The committee assists in planning and facilitating events geared towards young alumni. GOLD Committee members lead by example by making their own leadership gift to Oxy, and by raising awareness about how alumni support impacts the current student experience. Learn more about GOLD committee roles and responsibilities.
The Tiger Club Committee (TCC) is the principal fundraising body for athletics at Oxy. Comprised of alumni and parents who represent a variety of sports, the TCC works with Oxy Fund staff and fellow volunteers to build support for Occidental's athletic programs, serving as liaisons and advisers to the Athletics and Institutional Advancement departments. TCC members engage with alumni, parents, and students to deepen their engagement with the College through Oxy athletics, and raise awareness about the impact of gifts on the experience of student athletes.
Senior Class Gift
Senior Class Gift committee members help instill a culture of giving back to Oxy when alumni are still students on campus. The Senior Class Gift committee encourages participation based recurring giving to ensure that students’ most meaningful Oxy experiences continue to be available for future Tigers.
