Canva Pro for Employees

The Office of Marketing & Communications is pleased to offer a Canva Enterprise subscription to members of our campus community. OMC has a limited number of Enterprise licenses to assign to staff members who rely on Canva’s tools regularly for design tasks within the scope of their positions.

Tools and Training

  • Enterprise license holders must watch OMC’s visual identity training before receiving access to their Canva Enterprise account. This training will help you understand how we are implementing our refreshed brand identity across the College in order to align and uphold a unified mission.
  • Explore Canva’s features and enhance your design skills through a variety of Canva Design School courses.
  • Get help and support from Canva with design and organization-related questions.

FAQs for Employee Enterprise License holders

No. Currently, Canva does not allow individual users to create their own Brand Kits. However, if you have a project that involves other colleagues who have Enterprise accounts, you may consider creating a folder (under ‘Projects’) to share designs and graphics with colleagues.

Our current subscription has a limited number of Enterprise licenses. If you would like to recommend that a colleague receive a license, please email us at omc@oxy.edu.

Currently, our licensing structure requires individuals to sign-in using their personal Occidental email, as departmental emails are not included within this subscription. If you would like to continue using Canva Pro with your departmental email, you can. However, you won't be able to use Oxy's Single Sign-On (SSO).

Whoever creates the designs owns the content, even if it has been shared with others. To keep any content that has been shared with you, be sure to copy the file to your own Canva account. This way, you can retain the files even if the original owner deletes them.
