Talking Books

On January 28, Talking Books will present its inaugural Greg Critser ’80 Memorial Series event with a celebration of the author’s work. Greg Critser, Occidental College '80, was an American writer on medicine, science, food and health. His work has appeared in periodicals ranging from the New York Times to the Times of London, and from Harper's to the New Yorker and is the author of the award-winning Generation Rx: How Prescription Drugs are Altering American Minds, Lives and Bodies.

Flu Clinic

***Students: Flu shots are billed to insurance and are fully covered by the United Healthcare Student Plan. Those who waive the student insurance will have their flu shot billed to insurance as out-of-network and may incur a fee to your student account if not fully covered by your plan.

 

***Staff: Oxy Human Resources generously covers the cost of the vaccine for college employees (this does not include student workers).

 

Spooky Harvest Feast Feast

At FEAST Feasts, the Oxy community comes together to cook an organic meal prepared with vegetables from the FEAST garden. This feast, we'll also have pumpkin carving, face painting, a piñata, tarot card readings, and more!
