Please join us for a welcome dinner hosted by Progressive Christians Uniting, the Newman Catholic Community and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. We will meet outside the Herrick Interfaith Center near the fountain.

Bring 30 seconds of original, prepared choreography to our auditions! No experience necessary--all styles and class years are welcome. (If you can't make the audition, send a video to dancepro@oxy.edu by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30.)

ASSIGNED SEX is a mini documentary that explores the intersectionality of faith, race, and gender for transgender people of color in the modern world.The Sexual and Gender Acceptance (SAGA) Executive Board will facilitate a Q&A with the documentary’s director Shaun Dawson, music supervisor Nandi, and featured participant Kyler “Angel” O’Neal following the screening.

The Glee Club is joined by the Occidental Symphony Orchestra for an afternoon of seasonal fun. The groups will perform works by J.S. Bach, C.V. Stanford, David Conte, David Rose, Leroy Anderson, and Craig Courtney, as well as holiday favorites!

General admission tickets are available for $15.00. Oxy students may enter free with student ID.

This event is open to the public.

All current Music majors will be in attendance, so you will be able to meet your new classmates. See you there!
