January 26, 2024 - Microaggressions and Bias in the Classroom
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Location: Online
This webinar will be offered to Oxy faculty and staff and will help participants build the empathetic skills to help interrupt microaggressions when they occur in the classroom or among colleagues. Register here.

February 13, 2024 - Challenging Islamophobia and Antisemitism
Time: Noon - 2:30 p.m.
Location: Lower Herrick
Zack Ritter, Ph.D., and Marium Mohiuddin will lead this in-person opportunity for Oxy students to gain an understanding of the historic antecedents of misunderstandings and myths directed toward Muslim and Jewish folks. Participants will also gain clarity around not only the histories of anti-Jewish and anti-Muslim hate, but tools and techniques for disrupting Islamophobic and Antisemitic behaviors. March 6, 2024 (faculty and staff) and March 26, 2024 (students) - Addressing and Challenging Bias on Campus
Nick Daily will lead this session for the Oxy Community and will explore relevant history and contemporary bias dynamics within the U.S. education system, engage in personal identity development and reflection, and can apply these learnings to the Oxy Community past, present, and future. April 3, 2024 - Campus Crisis, Power Sharing, and Talking Across Difference
