The National Weather Service is forecasting heavy rain for Los Angeles from Sunday morning through Tuesday evening, with flooding and high winds possible in some parts of Southern California. No significant weather-related concerns have been identified on campus thus far.

The College's Emergency Response Team is closing monitoring the situation, which is expected to continue for several days.

In the event of a power outage, we will respond as quickly as possible and ensure that our community is informed about additional safety measures. We're also continuing to plan for possible flooding concerns on campus.

If you encounter flooding on campus between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., please report it to Facilities Management immediately at 323-259-2651. Outside of business hours, please report any flooding to Campus Safety at 323-259-2599 or via the LiveSafe app.

We encourage all members of the College community to remain attentive to weather and road conditions and take appropriate precautions when traveling to and from campus. Employees who experience weather-related issues that impact their ability to fulfill their work expectations should contact their supervisors to discuss options.

In the meantime, we intend for classes and other campus functions to continue as planned.

Please use caution while on campus. The ground may be slippery and you could encounter storm debris. If you see a safety hazard, please report it to Campus Safety right away at 323-259-2599 or via the LiveSafe app. For life threatening situations, please call 911.
