We'll start in the Keck Theater parking lot and continue through various spaces in the theater.

MAC Department Information Session

This session is designed for discerning MAC Majors or Minors, particularly rising sophomores. We'll discuss requirements for the MAC Major and Minor, look specifically FA 19 registration and course offerings, and answer any questions you may have. 

Don't wait until Advising or Registration Week! Come meet and talk with us ahead of time on the 19th!

Declared MAC majors should instead make an advising appointment with their MAC Academic Advisor during advising week to receive their registration pin and discuss degree progress and registration plans.

ARTS290 Body Talk: deconstructing representations of the figure in contemporary art

Using drawing and painting techniques we will analyze and critique "the figure” in both art history and in contemporary media. Utilizing post-colonial discourse, intersectional feminist and gender theory, identity politics and popular studies, the class will read critical essays on the body and apply it to their writings and art work.
