Join us for a campus plant walk inspired by Occidental College's 2023 Community Book selection, Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
Viewer discretion is advised. We'll be hosting a small discussion about the film after the screening. We welcome all to come join us in this cinematic experience: non film people, non club members, we care not, all are welcome.
This event is NOT at OXY ARTS. It will take place at Thorne Hall on Occidental College's campus. Address and parking locations will be sent with registration.

Join us for the 19th Animation Show of Shows - a screening of acclaimed international short animated films followed by a Q&A with festival director Ron Diamond and MAC Professor Amanda Tasse. Films include academy award nominated Everything by David O’Reilly, a restoration of short film Hangman by Paul Julian and Les Goldman, and diverse short films exploring a range of topics from philosophy to racism. The screening is sponsored by the Media Arts & Culture Department (MAC).
