Marcus Forbes is an Oxy alum, and the CEO and founder of Forbes Sports & Education, a social benefit organization providing mentorship, academic support, college prep, and educational workshops to youth athletes in the Sacramento area. Marcus is a community educator, NCAA certified coach, educational consultant, and social entrepreneur who is passionate about creating informal spaces of learning. His current work involves merging sports and education to positively affect youth development by turning the pursuit of a passion into a structured and guided learning experience.

The Intercultural Community Center is proud to present "The 365 Series” during Black History Month this year. This collaborative series of programs will recognize black history, black lives, and blackness at Oxy and beyond. More specifically, it aims to send an important message: February is only a starting place in the acknowledgement and celebration of black history and identity.
Bird LA Day is a city-wide event where communities all around the greater Los Angeles area gather to celebrate the birds and biodiversity of Southern California. Join the Moore Lab of Zoology for a guided bird walk through Oxy's campus followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of the world's largest Mexican bird collection.
