LA Gay and Lesbian Center
Provides medical and mental health services, social services and housing support, education and advocacy for LGBT people through multiple locations in Los Angeles. Health services include primary care for men, women and trans folks, in addition to transition services. Mental health services include sliding scale individual and group therapy.

Gender Center Los Angeles
Provides affordable mental health services to LGBTQ folk, including individual and group counseling, family therapy and assessment. Provides workplace and school advocacy,education and support for queer and transitioning individuals.

Located in Culver City, Colors providers free LGBTQ-affirming counseling for people under 25.

San Gabriel Valley LGBTQ Center

Transportation Off-Campus

To help students get to off campus events, meetings and appointments, Occidental college offers taxi vouchers and access to a zipcar program.

To use the taxi voucher system, students may visit Emmons Wellness Center, Campus Safety or Residential Education. Below are some tips on how to use taxi vouchers:

Taxi vouchers require no immediate out-of-pocket expense, and will be automatically billed to your student account.
To get a rid both away from and back to campus, you will need to call the number on the taxi voucher form.
The best place to arrange for pickup is at the fountain near Herrick.

“Pay" the taxi driver by handing them the voucher.
