A summary of workplace guidelines covering key areas like health and safety protocols, as well as helpful guidance for those working remotely and those returning to campus fully or partially.

Dear Oxy Faculty and Staff,

I am pleased to share with you workplace guidelines for the fall semester. These guidelines cover a number of key areas including health and safety protocols, as well as helpful guidance for those working remotely and those returning to campus fully or partially.

As indicated in the document, “consistent with the College’s July 15 decision to have remote instruction this fall and a very limited residential program, employees who are working from home should continue to do so until the operational needs of the department dictate otherwise as communicated and approved by your department head or supervisor.”

While this remote work arrangement will also require additional guidelines and discussion, as classes will soon be starting, it is important to share these guidelines with all who will be involved with on-site services this fall.  As we update this information in areas that involve employees’ work, either on campus or remote work, we will send additional communications.

If you have any questions related to any of the materials presented, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Randy Glazer
