Statute 21.06: Homosexual Conduct is based on the events leading up to the 2003 United States Supreme Court Case Lawrence v. Texas, the case that decided state sodomy laws were unconstitutional. Using documentary and archival evidence mixed with fictional interventions, Statute 21.06: Homosexual Conduct traces the trajectory from a bedroom arrest to the Supreme Court.
