Supervising Teaching Artist
Patricia Yossen is a visual artist working in sculpture, drawing, and ceramics, with a strong emphasis on materials, and the complex interactions of domesticity, career, and daily life. As a teaching artist she has worked the Metropolitan Museum of Art, El Museo del Barrio, Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), designing and leading workshops and hands-on activities to engage audiences and youth. Yossen was born and raised in Argentina, where she received her BFA in sculpture and art education. She went on to study and work in Mexico City for nearly a decade before moving to New York and obtaining an MFA in sculpture at Pratt Institute. Her work has been shown in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Argentina, Spain and Canada. She lives and works in Eagle Rock, Ca.

The Oxy Arts Collaborate program is made possible by the generous support of the Kathryn Caine Wanlass Charitable Foundation.
