The division of academic affairs: curriculum, research, learning.
The division of academic affairs is headed by the dean of the college and vice president for academic affairs. The dean’s office provides leadership and supervision for the College’s academic departments and programs, supports faculty, and works closely with the president to promote academic excellence.
The division of academic affairs advances the mission of the College through its academic program. The dean's office carries out three fundamental activities: teaching, learning, and scholarly activity. In support of these activities, the dean's office recruits new faculty, supports their professional development, reviews the curriculum, promotes research, and provides academic support for students.
The division of academic affairs includes the following departments:
Academic departments and programs
Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE)
Registrar's Office and Advising Center
Academic Mastery Program (AMP)
Scientific Scholars Achievement Program (SSAP)
Center for Digital Liberal Arts (CDLA)
Each of these offices work with faculty and students in guiding the College's vision for the liberal arts and sciences in the 21st century.
