April Rinne is an advisor, advocate, and acclaimed keynote speaker for issues relating to the "new economy," including a range of tech-enabled business models that are fundamentally redefining how we purchase, invest, create value, live our lives and plan for the future. Today, Rinne advises startups and established companies, local and national governments, policy makers, think tanks and investors worldwide. Her areas of expertise include policy reform, global expansion, sustainable development, travel and tourism, and the future of work. Previously, she was a lawyer and executive focused on microfinance and innovation at the base of the economic pyramid in emerging markets. She is a Fulbright Scholar and a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum. Rinne has traveled in more than 100 countries and considers herself a global citizen.
