SASA's Holi

Holi is the festival of color, celebrated widely throughout South Asia to commemorate the triumph of good over evil and the arrival of spring. The South Asian Students Association celebrates this day each year by throwing colorful powder as a group on the quad, spraying water from water guns, and snacking on South Asian delicacies. Grab a "Holi 2026" shirt from SASA in the weeks beforehand and join our celebration! This event is open to the entire Oxy community.

Valentine's Day Consent Grams & Survivor Advocate Meet and Greet

Whether it's a romantic gesture or a Palentine's treat, these sweet, pun-filled, and cute messages are perfect for reminding your chosen family that they make your day sweeter than candy!

While you're writing your consent gram, speak with Project SAFE's Survivor Advocate, Pilar Montenegro, to learn more about Project SAFE's confidential advocacy. She can share information regarding how to schedule an appointment, what our walk-in hours are, and other resources and services available via Project SAFE.

Involvement Fair Spring 2026

Reconnect. Refocus. Reimagine.

Welcome back, Tigers! Whether your fall semester was full of activity or you’re looking for a fresh start, the Spring Involvement Fair is your designated space to intentionally curate your Oxy experience. As a hallmark tradition at Oxy, this fair serves as the premier space to explore the diverse student-led organizations that define our vibrant campus culture.

Halloween Consent Carnival

Project SAFE invites the Oxy community to the Halloween Consent Carnival, a festive evening that combines spooky seasonal fun with interactive activities designed to promote healthy communication, boundary-setting, and respect. Featuring carnival-style games, creative stations, costume contests, and plenty of treats, the event offers students a playful, low-pressure space to learn about consent and connect with peers.

SASA's Diwali

Diwali is one of the most important holidays in the Hindu calendar. Celebrating the triumph of good over evil, the festival of lights is celebrated annually at Occidental College. Diwali is the South Asian Students Association’s biggest event of the year, and allows the South Asian community the chance to celebrate one of our largest holidays and share it with the Occidental community. Look forward to henna, dinner, and dancing. SASA looks forward to hosting Occidental students, faculty and staff for a wonderful evening!

Survivor Advocate Meet & Greet

Project SAFE is excited to welcome Survivor Advocate, Pilar Montenegro (she, her, hers), to the team! Stop by the Academic Quad to meet her and learn more about Project SAFE's confidential advocacy. She can share information regarding how to schedule an appointment, what our walk-in hours are, and other resources and services available via Project SAFE.

Empowerment Resource Fair

Every year, the fair is hosted during Project SAFE’s Empowerment Week, an annual observance held at Occidental College to raise awareness of campus sexual assault and provide a platform for survivors and their allies to share messages of hope and healing. The Empowerment Resource Fair is open to all students, staff, and faculty committed to raising awareness of and preventing sexual assault and gender-based violence on college campuses. Games, activities, prizes and resources will be provided for all who participate!

Involvement Fair Fall 2025

The Involvement Fair (iFair) is the perfect opportunity for clubs, organizations, and departments to share information and engage with students who are eager to get involved. Visit various organizations, meet new people, or reconnect with familiar faces you haven’t seen since last semester!

Each semester, Oxy’s clubs, organizations, and departments come together to help students:
