Hi there! My name is Edin (he/him/his) and I am a senior Biochemistry student from Bosnia and Herzegovina. In my free time, I like to watch movies and TV shows, as well as explore the Greater Los Angeles area. My favorite movie is Interstellar (2014) and my favorite show tends to change year-to-year (currently it's Grace and Frankie). At Oxy, I am conducting research in Inorganic Chemistry as a part of my Fletcher Jones Science Scholars Fellowship. This is my third (and final) year of being involved with organizing the International Student Orientation at Oxy. I hope to use my past experience to help welcome you to Oxy and attempt to offer the tools necessary to pursue a safe and successful educational experience. I chose to be a part of the O-Team because of my deep appreciation for the international experience and the exchange of ideas within a diverse group of people (both culturally and geographically). International students bring many different perspectives to Oxy, but vocalizing them is not always easy. I look forward to sharing this through my own experience as an international student at Oxy.
