Born and raised in Los Angeles, Sela is a senior philosophy major and cognitive science minor with an interest in law and higher education. As a transfer student, she has sought to make the most out of her three years at Oxy, working in various capacities throughout the college including lead Orientation Program Coordinator and Co-President of the Transfer Student Union. With an interest in ethics and punishment, Sela has been able to explore her philosophical inquiries through participation in the Summer Research Program and assisting with a First Year Seminar focused on punishment. Outside of class, Sela is an avid reader and can also be found playing guitar.
