Professor Behl is the author of Gendered Citizenship (2019). Her work focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of gender and race based inequality in liberal democracies. Also, making sense of racial, gendered and epistemic violence in academis.

Marie Angel Hernandez is an undocumented transgender woman of queer expression. She is an advocate for trans people of color using educational media as a mechanism to bring visibility to their narratives.

SLICE Leadership Luncheon
The session will consist of a presentation on different styles of leadership and a quiz to see what type of leader you are. After the quiz we will form groups based on leadership styles and guide conversation as to how we can each become more effective leaders with these styles in mind.
This will be part one of a five part Leadership development series hosted by the SLICE Office. Attend as many sessions as possible for a chance to win prizes at the end of the year!
