Career Fair Preparation Session

If you want to make the most of your experience at the Oxy Career Fair, you must prepare in advance. Attendance at this workshop is an excellent way to gain knowledge and valuable tips for approaching employers, seeking information, and making a great first impression. Some employers will decide which students to contact for an interview after the career fair. With the right preparation, and attendance at the workshops, you can increase the likelihood that you will make valuable employment contacts.

Interview Prep 101 Workshop

Your ability to articulate your accomplishments and experiences in a compelling manner can increase your chances of landing a great job or internship. This workshop will help you prepare for a telephone, video or in-person interview. Learn how to conduct pre-interview research; handle different types of interviews; and effectively use the job description to make a great first impression.

Put on your best professional business attire and attend the Oxy Career Fair on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m on the JSC Quad!
 
The Career Fair is open to all students seeking full-time, professional jobs and internships.

Kabouter Management Virtual Information Session

Kabouter Management LLC, a Chicago-based boutique international equities investment manager, is currently seeking an intern to join its research team for two weeks this winter! The intern will gain hands-on experience assisting with financial modeling, analysis and monitoring of current portfolio holdings.  Hear from Oxy alumnus, Ben Finser ‘13, at the virtual information session to learn more about the company and position. 

City of Hope Info Session

Come to this Information Session to learn about City of Hope's:

  • Master of Science in Translational Medicine (MSTM)
  • Ph.D. in Biological Sciences
  • For first-years, sophomores, and juniors, the Eugene and Ruth Roberts Summer Student Academy is a paid summer research opportunity. Students receive a $4,000 stipend for 10 weeks of hand-on research.
