Dear Oxy Community,
The Civil Rights & Title IX Office has compiled a summary of reports that the Title IX Office received during the fall 2021 semester and the resolution of formal complaints. As previously announced, this is the first end-of-semester report distributed in an effort to promote transparency and accessibility of information. To that end, we welcome your feedback and suggestions on the presentation of this important data.
We intend to distribute a more detailed annual report in October 2022. Moving forward, annual reports will include comparative data between academic years to provide a comprehensive overview of the number of reports made to the Title IX Office and the outcomes of investigations, including sanctions imposed.
These reports are only a small piece of the many initiatives the College is undertaking as part of its commitment to developing and fostering a culture of sexual respect and preventing sexual misconduct. We look forward to continuing to partner with students, faculty, and staff on these ongoing efforts.
