Facilitated by RAs and Project SAFE Peer Advocates, this semester-long series offers space to reflect upon and build resources for creating safety for ourselves in the Oxy community. Locations TBA!

  • Thursday, March 2nd - 5-7pm, Location TBA - Creating Safety Series #1: “Building a Safer Home: Consent in Communal Living” - What does safety and comfort at home mean to you? What can that look like at Oxy? In this workshop we will imagine an optimal living space, and explore what our boundaries are around shared living spaces. 
  • Thursday, April 6 - 5-7pm, Location TBA - Creating Safety Series #2: “For Allies: How to Support Survivors” -  What does it mean to be trauma-informed and survivor-centered? Every survivor is not the same, so let’s explore how we show up for those we personally know, and for the collective.
  • Thursday, May 4 - 5-7pm, Location TBA - Creating Safety Series #3: “Pod Mapping and Building Support Systems” - In this space we will identify who is part of your pod or support system and what resources you can access as you are off-campus and on break.
