Raul Navarro’s research focus lies in developing new chemical reactions and applying them in the synthesis of biologically active natural products.

Raul Navarro grew up in Los Angeles before heading east to pursue a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Yale. He obtained his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Caltech and did his postdoc at Stanford, where he was a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow and served as a research mentor in the Chemistry, Engineering, and Mathematics for Human Health (ChEM-H) program.
