ITS is committed to lowering our environmental impact where we can. Our multifunction printers are set up to print double-sided by default, and we use release to print functionality on campus to help reduce waste. We will be continuing our conversations across campus about how we can further reduce our printing footprint.

Supplies for multifunction devices:

If you need supplies (toner, paper, staples, etc.), contact Document Output & Creative Services (DOCS) (323-259-2585 or, located in AGC 120. DOCS has two technicians on campus who will regularly check printers and copiers on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to ensure adequate levels of supplies and perform routine maintenance.

Training for multifunction devices:

If you would like training for the multifunction devices contact Nicole Placensia in the Business Office (, 323-259-2660). She will work with Ricoh to arrange for a training session for you or your department. You can also learn more about how to use the multi-function devices.

New Printing Features [Coming Soon]

We are upgrading Ricoh multifunction devices (print/copy/scan) to allow new functionality, such as printing from mobile devices (iPhone, Android, Chrombooks) and more robust scanning digitization features. The new tap to print on public devices maintains our commitment to reducing paper waste from printing jobs that were sent in error.

We are currently doing beta testing and will update the printing instruction links when its time to install new printer drivers.
