Watch Oxy music instructors perform on campus.
On Tuesday, August 11, 2020, Oxy’s applied music instructors Matt Weisberg (piano), Dave Tranchina (bass), and Jamey Tate (drums) played as a jazz trio from the Booth Hall courtyard to a virtual audience. Their performance featured covers, including “The Way it Is,” and jazz standards, from “Someday My Prince Will Come” to “Body and Soul.” This event was presented by Occidental Admissions and the Music Department with sponsorship from the Benjamin H. Culley Fund.
